During the rule of Rameses-I in Ancient Egypt, the Firon is informed that the Jew slaves believe that a recently seen star portends the arrival of a Messiah who will free them. Eager to subvert the deliverer, yet unwilling to kill all the Jew slaves, Rameses-I theorizes that the deliverer must be newly born then orders the death of each male, Jew infant.
Jewish slave Yochabel, alongside her young daughter Maryam, prepares an ark of bulrushes and places her infant son in it. Pushing the ark into the Nile, Yochabel instructs Maryam to follow it, and therefore the girl watches because it is found by Asiya, the Firon's daughter. The recently widowed Asiya believes that the baby was sent by her deceased husband and, naming him Musa (A.S), dismisses the priority of her servant Memnet, who warns her that the child's swaddling cloth was made by Levite Jews. Declaring that her son is going to be a prince of Egypt, Asiya makes Memnet vow never to reveal his origins, although the servant secretly keeps the material.
product direct link Thirty years later, Asiya's brother Sethi is that the Firon and Musa (A.S) is far loved by the Egyptians, even quite Sethi's own son, Rameses-II. Rameses-I is deeply jealous of Musa (A.S), who has returned from Ethiopia after conquering it in Sethi's name.
Sethi chides Rameses-II for not completing the treasure city for his upcoming jubilee and Rameses-II blames his failure on the stubbornness of the Jew slaves. At Rameses-II' urging, Sethi (Rameses-I) sends Musa (A.S) to oversee the new city's construction, much to the chagrin of Nefretiri, the princess who must marry Sethi's heir. Nefretiri is crazy with Musa (A.S), who shares her passion, albeit Sethi has not announced whether Musa (A.S) or Rameses will succeed him. In Goshen, where the new city is being built, Musa (A.S) supervises Baka, the cold-hearted master builder. Also driving the slaves is Dathan, a ruthless Jew who has become an overseer. Dathan and Baka both desire Lilia, a Jew slave who is crazy with the stonecutter Joshua. One day, Yochabel, now an old woman, is nearly crushed by the big stones getting used to create the town.

Joshua is condemned to death for attempting to save lots of her, and Lilia then races through the gang to seek out Musa (A.S) and plead for his mercy. Upon examining the scene, Musa (A.S) frees Yochabel and Joshua and then decrees that not only should the exhausted, starving slaves have each day of rest, but they ought to even be fed from the temple granaries. Soon the town is nearly completed, and although Rameses-II and therefore the greedy priests plan to prejudice Sethi (Rameses-I) against Musa (A.S), Sethi is pleased by Musa's (A.S) progress. Sethi announces his intention to call Musa (A.S) his successor, but Memnet determined to not let a Jew sit on Egypt's throne, reveals the reality of his birth to Nefretiri. wanting to protect her beloved, Nefretiri kills Memnet, then tries to hide her actions. She confesses all to Musa (A.S), however, when he finds the swaddling cloth. Astonished by the news, Musa (A.S) seeks out Yochabel, whom Nefretiri reveals is his mother.

Musa (A.S) finds Yochabel even as Asiya is pleading together with her to go away to Egypt before Musa (A.S) learns the reality, but when Yochabel cannot deny that he's her son, Musa (A.S) accepts his heritage. After being welcomed by Maryam and his brother Haroon (A.S), Musa (A.S) begins working within the mud pits making bricks alongside the slaves he once commanded. Although Yochabel is convinced that Musa (A.S) is that the deliverer, he remains doubtful about the god of the Jews. Later, Nefretiri pleads with Musa (A.S) to return to the palace before Sethi (Rameses-I) learns of his situation. Nefretiri's argument that he can better help his people after he's Firon seems to sway Musa (A.S), but he states that first, he must see Baka, who has taken Lilia to be his house slave. Musa (A.S) arrives as Baka is close to whipping Joshua, who had come to rescue Lilia. Infuriated by Baka's callousness, Musa (A.S) kills him and then reveals his heritage to Joshua. The amazing stone cutter declares that Musa (A.S) is that the deliverer and his words are overheard by Dathan, who informs Rameses-II.
product direct link On the day of Sethi's (Rameses-I) jubilee, Rameses-II announces that he has captured the Jew deliverer, and therefore the courtiers are stunned when Musa (A.S), bound chained, is led in. Sethi (Rameses-I) asks Musa (A.S) if he would lead the slaves in revolt against him, and Musa (A.S) confesses that he would free them if he could. Sethi (Rameses-I) then announces that Rameses-II will succeed him and marry Nefretiri, and leaves Musa's (A.S) fate for Rameses-II to work out. Rameses-II then escorts Musa (A.S) to the sting of the vast desert and, giving him the pole to which he was bound as a staff, tells him to travel forth into his kingdom. Despite his lack of water and food, Musa (A.S) crosses the desert to succeed in Midian, where he collapses at a well-tended by the daughters of Bedouin shepherd Jethro. As time passes, Musa (A.S) is accepted by the Bedouins and marries Jethro's oldest daughter, Sephora, although he confesses that he's still suffering from the thought of Nefretiri.
